FEATURED ARTIST: Hilary Eddy

Hilary Eddy, originally from England, now lives on the Mendocino Coast in Northern California with her Norwegian Elkhound, Heidi Lyn. Hilary's unique and colourful oil paintings have been exhibited in over 60 solo exhibitions in museums, universities and galleries across the United States, and internationally in Germany, England, Tai Wan and Singapore. Her vibrant canvases have won more than 40 awards in national and regional shows including the Grand prize in the Artists' Magazine Painting Competition which had more than 10,000 entries, the Art Calendar Centrefold Competition and the Crabbie Cover Art Award. Her paintings have been featured in numerous publications, including Arts Indiana, IN, The Artists' Magazine, OH, The Art Paper, England, The Sycamore Review, IN, Stone Shoes, CA, and in International Art, Australia. She has been awarded Signature Membership in the International Artists' Society and in the National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society. In her paintings Hilary explores the magic of the ordinary in her extraordinary observation of the shapes and colours created by light reflecting and passing through objects.
